I've been pulling my hair out this morning trying to figure out how to change the DPI of my photos.
Calling all computer pros... I'm trying to download my photo for the Christmas card and the printing site says it needs to be 300 dots per inch. I can't find any imaging editor on my computer that will do it. (I do not have Photoshop.) I can change pixels/ resolution, but not DPI. It's only at 180 dpi right now, and I'm afraid it would be very blurry looking if printed this way...
Any ideas?

I used some of my absolute favorite papers today to create layers on this background. I think it has the comforting look of a handmade quilt. Also, I've finished my first Christmas card. I'll be sending it off to the printing site soon, and they'll be available on Etsy as soon as I get them. Goodnight!
take a hay ride, and stuff their little faces with fresh cinnamon donuts while sitting in the sunshine! We managed to walk away with everything apple flavored, plus two large pumpkins, soon to be carved.
Tomorrow is a busy day for me so I need to get in bed. I have shipping to do and a commissioned painting to tackle. If I manage to get that done, I'm going to look into retrieving my photos, lost during my computer's melt down. I want to have some prints made for my Etsy shop. Any ideas on where to get prints made?

Everything is on hold until these costumes are complete. My 3 year old wants to be a princess, that's a real shocker. That was until she saw the sword that goes with her daddy's pirate costume...she thinks it's terribly cool, so she may wind up being a princess carrying a huge sword that's as tall as she is. Anyway- I'm going to try and finish them tonight. I'm a horrible seamstress, and I'm doing it all by hand...I'm going to be a witch. I found an awesome black dress on ebay & I'll have PMS that week, so being evil should be no problem at all. My 18 month old has a monkey costume, but she's a little weirded out about the tail & ears, so we'll see how that goes. We're going to ZOO BOO this weekend with our neighbors. I can't wait to dress up!
I put a few things on Ebay today...Ebay has been good to me. I've met so many wonderful people there, so many nice collectors. Truth be told though, eventually I'd like to start putting everything on Etsy. The selling process is more simplified there. It's a site tailored for those looking for handmade items from artists around the world. Ebay is still looked at by many as a giant garage sale. I would never put my art in a garage sale. Well, we will see what happens...
I'm off to buy trimming to cover up my horrible botched seams on the princess costume...please don't look closely at the stitches, it's embarrassing. I'll just tell her it's like Cinderella's dress, it may fall apart by midnight...
