Adventure Time.

3 days until we take off for Tennessee. My girls are beyond excited. The pictures are from last year's June visit. Can you believe the giant magnolia tree? It's in my Grandparent's front yard. We played in it when we were little, and now our kids are doing the same. Can you find four little people in there?

Mom's Bath.

Just a few more images for Mom's inspiration files. Things she wants: pedestal sink, open storage, beadboard, and perhaps a small window. I'm loving the style she's going for. Anyone know a good source for farmhouse sinks for the kitchen? I'm not sure of a salvage place nearby, but I think this style would look great accompanied by some older reclaimed materials.

Mom's Kitchen.

I'm going to Tennessee towards the end of June to visit my family. While I'm there my mom wants my sister and I to help design the kitchen and bath in the cottage she's building. I've been collecting pictures of rooms I think might fit her style. I'm hoping she'll stumble across something she loves, and we'll go from there. She wants some sort of darker wood, either in the flooring or cabinets...wants to keep it light and airy...and wants open shelving instead of upper cabinets...and would like to use beadboard somehow. Any ideas?
