On the Lake.

We pulled the little camper west and spent 4 days on Lake Michigan. The weather was beautiful and the water was warm. We're going to be home long enough to wash all the laundry, mow the lawn, and tend to the garden...then we're headed to the other side of the lake to visit my husband's family in Winthrop Harbor. My plans include digging for worms and trying to catch teeny fish with the girls kiddie reels. Hope your week is wonderful too.

Hello There.

Summer is in full swing over here! Sorry for the absence and lack of posting, but truthfully, when the air is hot and the sun is shining, the last place I want to be is on my laptop.

We spent 2 weeks in Tennessee and enjoyed every second of it. Lots of wading the creek, bonfires, and fishing. I came home to a veggie garden in full bloom and in desperate need of weeding. We've harvested cucumbers, carrots, strawberries, beans, zucchini, and tons of peas. Summertime makes dinner oh so delicious. We're planning out the rest of our summer and it's looking packed. I'll probably be rather light on posting, save for rainy days when I'm stuck inside or times when I have something I can't wait to share. Thanks for stopping by and rest assured when it turns cooler I'll be back to daily blogging. :)
